Norm Sparks Norm Sparks
is a graduate of the UNSW school of Optometry. He is the
principle optometrist of Sparks & Feros. Having been in practice
since 1984 Norm has been part of, and seen many changes in
the development of modern professional eye care. He attends
regular continuing education events to ensure that his patients
receive up to date best practice eye care. Norm interests
include retinal imaging for checks for cataracts, glaucoma,
macular degeneration, contact lens fitting and Industrial
Optometry. He has completed the Ocular Therapeutics Course
in 1993 run by the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
To raise awareness for need of "eye protection at work" he speaks on radio 2RPH as an eye safety advisor to industry. Norm Sparks is a board-certified optometrist and a member in good standing of Optometrists Association of Australia.

Pat Hey completed his trade and technical training at the Sydney Institute of Technology in 1989 in Optical Dispensing and Optical Mechanics. Pat had worked for OPSM for several years before coming to Sparks & Feros in 2001. Pat has an in depth understanding of spectacle manufacturing and dispensing at all levels. His special interests include dispensing glasses for children and sports eyewear. Pat also great deal of knowledge and experience in fitting and determining the best type of prescription safety eyewear for your work or recreational pursuits. Pat is very popular with our patients for the skilled, professional and friendly service that he provides.He is very popular with our patients and is known for the skilled, professional and friendly service that he provides. He is licensed and registered as an Optical Dispenser in NSW.

Brad Ralph Brad
first started with Sparks and Feros back in 1997. He then
worked full time for us as an Optical Dispenser / Mechanic
for many years. He is currently working for us on a part
time consultancy basis in our lab in addition to expertly
delivering and fitting glasses to our patients. Brad has
more than 20 years experience in this area so he can adjust,
fix and repair just about any pair of specs! Brad’s interests
include, rimless fitting, faceting of lenses and prescription
safety eyewear. Bradley is held in high regard by both our
patients and industry co-workers for his years of service,
high level of skill and positive attitude in all situations.
Brad is both licensed and registered as an Optical Dispenser
in NSW.
